Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 28 May 2026
This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service and explains what you can and cannot do with Nexlyr AI. We keep the rules short and plain so it is clear what we expect. If you are not sure whether something is allowed, please ask at contact@nexlyrai.uk before you use the service for it.
The basics
Nexlyr AI is a tool for turning your own research and source material into editable presentations. You are responsible for the material you upload, the instructions you give us and the decks you build. You must have the right to use the material you upload, and the output must not be used in ways that harm other people or break the law.
What you must not do
You must not use Nexlyr AI to create, request or distribute anything that:
- Breaks the law in the United Kingdom or in any country where you or your audience are.
- Sexually exploits or endangers children in any form. We report this to the authorities and terminate the account immediately, with no warning.
- Promotes terrorism, organised violence, or step by step instructions for building weapons (including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or cyber weapons).
- Harasses, threatens, defames or incites hatred against a person or a group based on who they are (race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or any other protected characteristic).
- Contains malware, phishing instructions, credential stuffing material or other code or content whose purpose is to attack people or systems.
- Impersonates a real person or organisation in a way that is meant to deceive (deepfakes of real people without their consent, fake quotes, fake corporate statements).
- Spreads deliberate misinformation about elections, public health or other matters where falsity causes serious public harm.
- Shares someone’s private information without their consent (home address, phone number, medical or financial data, location), or is meant to enable stalking, doxxing or harassment.
- Infringes intellectual property you do not have the right to use, including uploading copies of paid reports, books or paywalled material that you do not own or have a licence for.
- Misleads people about who is using the service. You may not share or sell your account, run accounts on behalf of other people without telling us, or evade a suspension by creating a new account.
Do not attack the service
Nexlyr AI uses prompt safeguards, rate limits, cost ceilings and other protections to keep the service reliable and affordable. You must not try to defeat or work around any of these. In particular, you must not:
- Attempt prompt injection or jailbreaks designed to make the model ignore its instructions, leak system prompts or generate content that this policy forbids.
- Probe, scan or stress test the service without our written permission.
- Automate sign ups, generation or any other action in a way that abuses fair use.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract our prompts or models.
Security researchers are welcome to report vulnerabilities responsibly to contact@nexlyrai.uk. We will not pursue good faith research that follows reasonable disclosure practice.
Professional contexts
Nexlyr AI is designed for business and analytical work. It is not a substitute for qualified professional advice. You must not present its output as the work of a regulated professional (legal opinion, medical diagnosis, investment advice, accounting sign off) without the oversight of someone qualified to give that advice. You remain responsible for verifying every fact, figure and recommendation in a deck before you act on it or share it.
What happens if you break this policy
We have automatic systems that flag suspected misuse, and we also act on reports. Depending on how serious the breach is, we may:
- Refuse a specific request or block specific input.
- Pause your account while we review.
- Terminate your account, with or without notice.
- Withhold a refund of fees already paid for the period of misuse.
- Report the activity to the police or other authorities where the law requires us to.
For severe breaches (child safety, terrorism, credible threats of violence) we act immediately, terminate the account and preserve evidence for the authorities. For everything else we try to be proportionate. If you think we acted in error you can reply to the notification and we will review.
Reporting abuse
If you have seen content generated with Nexlyr AI that breaks this policy, or if your own material has been misused, please write to contact@nexlyrai.uk. Tell us what you saw, where you saw it and any context that helps us act. We treat reports confidentially.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service grows. If we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
