Privacy Policy

Last updated 21 June 2026

This policy explains what Nexlyr AI collects and why. Nexlyr AI is operated by Nexlyr Solutions Ltd, the data controller, registered in England and Wales (company number 17062750).

What we collect

  • Your account email address, so you can sign in and we can contact you about the service.
  • The decks you create and your saved library, so your work is there when you return.
  • Usage records, such as how many decks you have made, to run your plan and improve the product.
  • Basic technical and error information, to keep the service reliable.

Your uploaded files

Files you upload are read to build your deck and are not stored afterwards. Only the deck you create is saved to your account.

Business memory

When you generate a deck from uploaded files, Nexlyr AI keeps the key facts and figures it reads from those files as your workspace's memory, so your next deck has the full picture without re-uploading. The original files are still not kept (see above); only the facts drawn from them are.

Memory is organised into workspaces, so the facts for one client or project stay separate from another. You can see, edit, lock or delete any fact, or clear a whole workspace, on the My workspaces page. Deleting a workspace, or deleting your account, wipes its memory.

Emails from us

When you create an account, Nexlyr AI sends you a short welcome email to help you get started, along with account and service emails when something needs your attention (for example a billing receipt or a security notice). Service emails are part of running your account, so we do not ask you to opt out of those.

From time to time we may also send product updates, such as new features or short tips. Every product update we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email contact@nexlyrai.uk to opt out at any time. Opting out of product updates does not affect the service emails above.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service: Supabase for accounts and storage, Stripe for payments, an AI provider to generate your decks, Resend for email, and Sentry for error reporting. With your consent we also use PostHog for product analytics and Meta and LinkedIn for advertising measurement (see the two sections below). They process data on our instructions.

Product analytics

With your consent, we record simple, anonymised activity counts (for example, that a deck was generated, downloaded, or that an upgrade button was clicked) so we can see which features are used and keep improving the product. We never send your slide content, the text you paste, or your uploaded files to our analytics. Analytics data is held in the European Union. You can turn analytics cookies off at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer.

Advertising and attribution

If you allow advertising cookies, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure which of our ads bring people to Nexlyr AI and to reach similar audiences. With the same consent we record the campaign details of the link you arrived through (for example the source, campaign and advert), so we can see which ads lead to sign-ups. We never share your slide content, the text you paste, or your uploaded files for advertising. Meta and LinkedIn process this data under their own privacy terms. You can turn advertising cookies off at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer; once you do, nothing further is sent to Meta or LinkedIn and we stop recording campaign details.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Stripe processes your payment information under its own terms.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal data, and you can ask us to stop processing it. You can delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app. This permanently removes your decks, library and usage records. For a copy of the data we hold on you, email us at contact@nexlyrai.ukfrom your account email and we’ll send it to you within 30 days.

Retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. We keep limited records longer only where the law requires it, for example for tax and accounting.
