Your month-end numbers, analysed, projected and explained in a deck you can edit.

For finance teams. Variance against plan, the projection for the quarter, the reforecast, the investment case. Nexlyr AI computes every figure from your own exports, carries the measures forward, and tells you later where its projection missed.

What takes up your time

The close lands and the deck is due the same week

Actuals arrive, the variance needs explaining and the review deck is expected before anyone has finished reconciling.

Every figure gets challenged

A number on a finance slide is questioned to the penny. One that cannot be traced to the ledger costs the whole deck its credibility.

Forecasting by hand eats the month

Carrying last year's shape forward, adjusting for what changed, then redoing it when a new month lands, is a spreadsheet that never closes.

How Nexlyr AI works alongside you

  • The variance is computed on the actual rows

Plan against actual, period against period, every movement calculated in code on the ledger you upload, never estimated, and traced to the file and page.

  • It projects the measures forward and shows its working

Choose a measure and Nexlyr AI carries it on from the months already behind it, following the rhythm and seasonal shape your figures actually have, drawn onto the chart and clearly marked as projected.

  • It grades its own projection when the month lands

Bring the new month's actuals and the earlier projection is read back against them, month by month, inside or outside its range and by how much it missed.

  • Every month is a new version, nothing overwritten

Update with new info builds the next deck beside the last one with the structure intact, so the review you presented in March stays exactly as you presented it.

It projects what comes next, then tells you where it missed

Ask Nexlyr AI to carry a measure forward and it projects from your own history, following the rhythm your figures move to. When the real months land, it reads that projection back against them.

  1. It projects from your own figures
Choose a measure and the projection is drawn from the months already behind it, straight onto the deck's own chart and clearly marked as projected.
  2. It follows your data's rhythm
Monthly, quarterly or yearly, the projection moves the way your business moves, including the seasonal shape that repeats each year.
  3. It flags what it does not trust
Months missing from the history, a measure whose definition shifted, more than one currency in the same column. Nexlyr AI writes it on the slide, so nobody reads a provisional line as a firm one.
  4. It checks itself against what happened
As the real figures land, Nexlyr AI compares them with what it projected and tells you which months landed inside its range and by how much each one missed.

Questions, answered.

Can it project revenue or costs forward from my actuals?+

Yes. Choose the measure and Nexlyr AI carries it forward from the months already behind it, following the rhythm and seasonal shape your figures have, drawn onto the deck's own chart and clearly marked as projected. Where months are missing or a column mixes currencies, it says so on the slide.

How do I know the projection was any good?+

Bring the next month's actuals and update the deck. The earlier projection is read back against what landed, month by month: inside or outside its range, and by how much it missed.

Where do the figures come from?+

Only from the files you upload. Variances, totals and movements are computed in code on your actual rows, checked against the source and cited to file and page on the slide. A figure that cannot be verified does not appear.

What happens to last month's deck when I update it?+

Nothing. The update is built as a new version beside it. Every version stays open to you and can be named so you find it again.

What happens to my uploaded files?+

They are read to build your deck and are not stored afterwards. Only the deck you create is saved to your account.

The month's numbers are in. The analysis, the projection and the deck follow.
